September 2017

I want to congratulate our Vice President Andres Hayes for arranging the Skål DC August event at the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the help of Uzbekistan Counselor Kamol Muhtarov.  It was a wonderful evening at the beautiful Embassy on Massachusetts Ave which was the original home of Clarence Moore who died on the Titanic in 1912 having only lived in the house for 3 years. The Embassy opened their arms to Skål DC members and our guests. The words of welcome from Mr. Yakhshilikov and the presentation by Mr. Fayzullaev were much appreciated as was the great tasting Uzbekistan food. Please visit the Skål DC website to see some of the photos taken by Randy Herron.
